The Duchess has the setting to
host a wide range of services for your intimate
wedding or elopement. We are of course firstly a bed and breakfast
with three classic suites on the second floor for the use of the
wedding party or guests. The remainder of the property on the ground
floor can comfortably accommodate 24 to 30 for your use. Examples
are: Showers (Victorian High Tea?), Rehearsal Party with finger food, the Wedding Ceremony, a Toast to the couple and
cutting of the Cake, or an intimate reception. The next morning can
feature a scrumptious breakfast for the couple, or a brunch for up
to 8.

| You can choose to have only the ceremony and perhaps photos. If you select some of our other offerings, our service includes: assistance with purchasing beverages (again, steps from the store) and glasses for the toast, flowers: silk or fresh, seating for your guests at the ceremony, a wedding cake: traditional or one of the specialty cakes from SemiSweet Productions. |

Our Officiant (someone who officially marries people) will perform your ceremony, religious or secular. It can be really private (you 2), a few friends or family, or an intimate group of up to 40. A century-old ornate piano is available for music by your musician or ours - or bring a CD. The Duchess can witness if desired. Decorations and flowers can be provided by you, or the Duchess can arrange them. By the way, we're not just for singles...our site is perfect for couples who wish to renew their vows! |
| Make the Cutting of the Cake part of your Wedding. Among the Specialty Design cakes available are: Lemon Mousse, Black Forest Mousse, and Apricot Butter Cream Gateau. SemiSweet Productions will also be the caterer for any other parties or receptions at the Duchess. |

Three spacious rooms are available for your wedding, and events
planned around it, from a toast and finger food after the ceremony to
rehearsal party, intimate reception, or a brunch the following
