Coming west on the 401 from Toronto/London: take exit #90 (Blenheim/Chatham) and turn right onto Highway 40 North. At the outskirts of Chatham turn left onto Park Avenue, right onto Lacroix, and right onto Wellington. The B&B is one block down Wellington on the corner of Wellington and West. See Parking.
Coming east on the 401 from Detroit/Windsor: take exit #81 (Chatham) to Bloomfield Road North. Turn right onto Park Avenue, left onto Lacroix, and right onto Wellington. The B&B is one block down Wellington on the corner of Wellington and West. See Parking.
For travelers taking a more relaxed route;
Coming south on Hwy 40 from Sarnia / Wallaceburg: the highway becomes St.Clair. In mid-Chatham turn right onto Grand, left onto Lacroix, and left onto Wellington. The B&B is one block down Wellington on the corner of Wellington and West. See Parking.
Coming west on Hwy 2 from Stratford / Thamesville: the highway becomes Grand. In Chatham, turn left onto Lacroix, and left onto Wellington. The B&B is one block down Wellington on the corner of Wellington and West. See Parking.
Coming east on Hwy 2 from Windsor via St Clair shores: the highway becomes Richmond. In Chatham, turn left onto Lacroix, and right onto Wellington. The B&B is one block down Wellington on the corner of Wellington and West. See Parking.

| For a shorter trip from central Michigan, the Algonac ferry to Walpole Island Canada runs year round, ice permitting. The ferry crosses the border every 15-20 minutes, and is within 1/2 hour of The Duchess of Wellington bed and breakfast on Highway 40 - the shortest route from the States. |

Parking: there is no street parking on either Wellington or West around the Bed and Breakfast, but there is ample, free, off-street space at the Duchess. The parking driveway is off West Street; angle park on the terracotta plaza. Back to top
