The Duchess of Wellington When we realized that the Capitol Theatre was practically a neighbor of what was soon to be The Duchess, the conception of a suite that celebrated the lively arts was born. Watch for special packages when the meticulous renovation of this swing era theatre is complete and the doors open for live performances. In the meantime, tours of the theatre restoration are available.

  BackStage overlooks the garden on the Wellington Street side of the house. Guests like the orthopedic bed and the combination jacuzzi/shower under a skylight. Features include 1900 'Gibson Girl' prints and an inlaid armoire from historic Amherstburg.
